THE NATURAL KITCHEN Whatever happened to the thrill and excitement of food shopping? Where did the animation and bustle of traditional markets disappear to? Why has the high street experience become so clinical and uninspiring? Where are the smiling faces, the unbridled enthusiasm for real food? These were the questions we asked ourselves while setting up The Natural Kitchen. We’re obsessed (in a good way) with wanting to bring you the best food that’s out there: food that is produced as simply and authentically as possible, sourced from hand-picked suppliers who care passionately about what they do and whose values we share. Above all, we want to encourage food biodiversity in all its glory, celebrate the renaissance for real food, and show you just how good food and shopping for food can really be. That’s why we sell organic, wild and artisan food in an environment that evokes the romance and discovery of a traditional market. For us, it’s a wining combination that offers the best of all worlds and epitomizes everything we stand for: taste, quality, seasonality, integrity, authenticity, traceability, pleasure. In a nutshell, if it isn’t fresh, healthy, tasty and produced in the right way, it simply doesn’t in The Natural Kitchen. We also wanted to put people firmly back centre stage. We’re driven to make The Natural Kitchen the best shopping experience ever- for our own team, our customers and our suppliers. We want to be the best food shop for our local community and create an environment where like-minded people can come, chat, explore, learn, engage, feel good and have a great time. So that’s our stall laid out, simply, honestly and openly. Please come and see us. It’s how food shopping should be. Keith Bird, Martin O’Connor and Founding Team. |
